I am a director and executive producer with a wide-range of experience in digital storytelling and branded video who is passionate about collaborating with talent- from people on the street to celebrities- to make something beautiful. That's the logline.
If you'd like to know more....
I grew up in Connecticut. I did not grow up on the arm of Connecticut but in the middle. It was quiet.
In 2004, I attended New York University first for film school and then for neuroscience. Realizing I had no aptitude for applying science in a professional career, I shifted gears back to creative endeavors and I have been working in production since.
Out of college, I worked at House Casting cutting my teeth in the commercial casting industry. It’s nice to see all faces of Diet Coke, Allstate and Apple appearing in major motion pictures and television series these days.
In 2012, I joined the newly formed video team at Bleacher Report - then a startup - to run a daily show on YouTube. I quickly found great collaborators and helped cultivate Bleacher Report's one of a kind video culture. I produced and directed video franchises and documentaries with NBA All-Stars and worked on specialized branded series for Samsung, Sprite and Lowe's. Over that time, Bleacher Report became a video powerhouse and still creates some of the most innovative digital work in the sports media landscape.
It was cold in New York, so in 2015 I moved to Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles, I was hired to work as the Executive Producer of a daily show for Elite Daily - a recently acquired startup - for Verizon’s new platform christened go90. With a focus on amazing Los Angeles-based talent, we constructed an irreverent ten-minute daily show, The Elite Daily Show out of our sound stage in Burbank. I hired and oversaw a creative team who wrote, shot, produced, and edited a show that garnered millions of views and brought the tone and voice of Elite Daily to life.
I then joined the media company Dose – a data-driven startup – as an Executive Producer to launch their cutting-edge video team. We installed the video voice of Dose across all social platforms and established a successful branded video department working with clients like Anheuser-Busch, Netflix, and FOX. Our original content had over +1 billion views during my time there. My last project there was to adapt our digital strategy specifially for broadcast and I created a pilot for Tribune Media that would be green lit into a national morning news show, Morning Dose that aired in Dallas, Houston, Miami, Washington DC, and Portland.
In the summer of 2017, I joined Condé Nast Entertainment (CNE) on the creative and development team. I began my tenure here by directing two seasons of the nominated series True Crime: Uncovered. I am now the creative lead in Los Angeles and work with our production team to create best in class editorial content for our brands which include: Vanity Fair, Vogue, GQ, Glamour, WIRED, Allure, and The New Yorker. I have directed series for Google Daydream (VR), Facebook, Snapchat, WIRED OTT, and of course the brands’ respective YouTube channels.
